"We had a truly wonderful stay at The Packhorse Inn. We stayed in Warren Room which was really lovely a very comfortable bed and a fantastic bathroom. Areas of the room and the hallway leading to it are a little tired looking stained carpet and areas of paintwork could be refreshed. The food was absolutely amazing we had roast beef and sticky date pudding for our meal. Lovely service the waiter was very helpful and attentive. It is a very well maintained charming property very clean and having everything that is necessary for a comfortable stay . The owner is very nice and friendly but professional too. It is very close to towns like Bury St Edmunds Newmarket Ely and Cambridge for those who are interested in exploring the area or you can choose to stay put for...

"Arrived well before check in time, but had no problem with parking my car in their car park (register ant reception). And my room was ready. Really helpful and friendly staff, lovely cooked breakfast, various options. Also had meal in the pub on the first night, lovely. Room fine. Well done all round."
