"Great location, easy walking distance of city, and train station. Free parking was the main attraction, unusual so close to a city centre. Lots oof bars and restaurants, just around the corner. We loved Leicester. There was a fan in the bedroom, which was fine as it wasn't hot while we were there, but in next week's heat, I think the rooms will be too hot?"

"The space was great, in a brilliant location. The check in receptionist was so friendly and helpful. I would have given it 5 stars if the shower head was not broken, but we did manage to shower with difficulty. We reported it when checking out but felt we should have received some form of compensation. We understand these things happen so don't be put off, highly recommended!"

"Had to change rooms as upon closing door , the lock and frame fell off. A shoddy repair had taken place prior to our stay with 2 screws attempting to hold in place. From a room security perspective it was very poor. Room was changed but very uncomfortable bed. 3/4 bed which was not suitable for 2 adult's. No air con. Not the best"

"It was nice & quiet, so got a good night's rest. No air con but there was notification that it wasn't working & the tv wasn't showing any channels. Overall, with the breakfast included in the booking, it was a pleasant & relatively cost efficient stay."

"The caretaker Paul didnt know we were coming and initially was more interested in his amazon parcels, told us the owner books people and dosent tell him (happens all the time) id booked one double and one single with 3 beds on the same floor - I got one double with single beds in the attic and my children the 3 bed a floor below us. The b&b had hostel vibes from the start. There were smashed windows, dirty bathrooms without locks, pubes on the toilet roll and bottles stashed behind the was hand...

"Due to a rather very poor inter-floor sound insulation between the 2nd and 1st floor,from 5am to 6:37am, a constant thudding more akin to an elephant 's footfall, repeated loud dropping of heavy items,by a guest who probably wasn't aware of, or cared very little, meant disturbed sleep floor below. Will not be staying here again!"

Very dated, dark & dingy decoration In desperate need of work Located on a busy main road, so noisy traffic. Carpet unclean Bathroom in need of updating 2 cups in room but no glasses. I asked a member of staff for a glass but was told they don’t supply glasses?? Definitely not recommended at this price!!!!"
