"I had an excellent week staying at Malik Toyo in Uluwatu. Danny and his staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for visiting surfers with the steps to the Uluwatu cave only a 3 minute walk and Padang Padang only a 5 minute scooter ride. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the local cliff tops. So many quality restaurants and bars just a short walk in either direction. The accomadation is clean and comfortable with great showers, air conditioning and a nice pool to...

"The staff is really helpful. The rooms, though really small, are clean but i didn t like the fact that the bathroom is open to the outside. Anytime you use it, you get bitten by mosquitoes, and swear profusely."

"This place was a DUMP! The room was filthy. Conditions were so poor that I checked in at 2:30pm and checked out before 7pm. The walls had what looked to be mold growing on them, there were stains on the sheets, thick soap scum on the shower glass and bathroom faucet was loose. I would not advise anyone to stay there."

"The property itself is very nice. However, there is something living in the wall and I could hear it running around at night and making vocal noises - I’m not sure what kind of animal it was but it was very loud, woke me up more than once. I thought it was behind the headboard, I wish I hadn’t looked, it’s absolutely filthy back there. One of the cubbies is the wardrobe was filthy too. Cobwebs all over the ceiling. Yes the mosque it loud but I knew this going in and I could get to sleep anyway,...
