"Front office staff are not so friendly. They also keep your passport or collect cash-only incidental deposit. We didn’t carry that much cash and had to leave one of our passports with them. When leaving, they took forever and rambled to find the passport, raising security concerns."

Sometimes you have to choose a higher price ride because the cheaper grab will drop your ride and your only option is to pay a more expensive price. "Rooms were very clean. Staff were friendly and would help in any way possible. They would recommend tours/transfers and then book them. Food was great in the restaurant and the roof top pool is a good place to go at the end of the day with drinks and food available. The hotel is off the main road a couple of blocks which makes it very quiet but yet close enough to walk to the beach or shops. Or take a Tuk Tuk from the door, staff will arrange it. Excellent place to stay for your visit."

"Sugar marina AVIATOR hotel is very convenient to airport. Excellent for those arriving or departing at inconvenient times. Free shuttle to nearby beach. Cheap, tasty Thai food shops within a couple of blocks. Great place for overnight near the airport when in transit or fighting jet-lag; used by flight crews from several airlines. Quirky decor with strong WWII aviation theme. Other hotels in the Sugar Marina chain are located in the nearby resort areas of Phuket City and in Ao Nang in Krabi...

Now USA.. ain’t no washcloths so bring ya own.. otherwise the staff was great and they did let me stay until 1:30pm for free.. only reason you shouldn’t walk is if you don’t want to bust a sweat otherwise.. save your baht"
