"First if all, I would like to say that the staff deserves a 5 * rating for doing their best in assisting me with accomodation problems I encountered during our stay. Problems I encountered: 1. Our first room(507) has air-conditioning problems that the staff helped me transfer to room 219. 2. Moving to room 219, after a while, the room reeked of foul odors that I again requested another room if which they assisted me again. 3. Off we go to room 142 which doesn't smell as bad than 219 and...

"The rooms were not ready with toiletries when we got to the rooms. We had to ask for toilet paper and have the rooms dusted. Positive note: the pool was very good and clean and the dining area was clean. "

"The Calayo resort itself where we stayed is good including the staff, there is a swimming pool, so if you will not like to swim in the dirty sea you have the option. The downside is that there is no wifi and some of the facilities like shower, cabinets are broken."

They were upgraded to a two bedroom, but was of a downgrade. Cleanliness and providing basic essentials are part of being a host. NOT this one. Anyhow, they've checked out the next day. "
