"We loved our stay at Puerta Azul. They have their own dock to start snorkeling and kayaking from, as well as boat pickups of you prefer tours to reach farther destinations.
Breakfast onsite was great with a weekly rotating menu. One thing to note is that the onsite restaurant is the only convenient but expensive option for lunch and dinner. "Las Verandas was a great choice. The room was beautiful and spacious with a wonderful balcony and the food was delicious! The grounds are very well maintained and the ground around the pools never gets hot. The concierge was very helpful, booking us a snorkeling trip and providing other helpful information. The one downfall (no fault of Las Verandas) was the no-see-ums, so bring bug spray and use it!"

"Beautiful villa stay in Roatan — we’d come back
We stayed in a beautiful villa in Roatan and loved the setting from the moment we arrived. Having the pool right outside the door and an ocean view made every morning and evening feel special. It’s the kind of place you actually use, not just photograph.
Staff were very accommodating throughout the stay and made things easy. The on-site dive operation was a huge plus — super convenient not to have to leave the property. The dive masters and...
