"Only good for overnight stays as opposite the airport. But more expensive than other hotels past the airport. Good pool but lacking seating. Gets taken quite fast. Restaurant service was painfully slow. Got my food after an hour wait. Not very energy efficient as all rooms have aircon going with the louvers windows open next to the front door. "The Tanoa was a complete hidden gem. We booked this stay for a single night before we fly home from Fiji and we regretted not booking with them a few days longer. The bar was a very lively spot at night and had amazing cocktails made by the Great Filamoni!!! He was so fun and witty and kept great company.
Our dinner was absolutely fantastic and we felt very well catered to by our host Saiasi. He was great at anticipating our needs and was ready to help immediately! He was one of the best hosts...
