"Convenient hotel with good pricing.
We stayed in a suite with kitchenette; second room and full bathroom were a floor below. Good for larger family.
Chili’s on site. Hot tub was busy."
"We only stayed at Canalta for one night , but it was well worth it. We were greeted by the loveliest staff at check in, very smooth. The hotel has great amenities, the pool and the cafe are open very late with food options and cocktails so you can spend your evening at the hotel not needing to step out. They also have lots of games to grab and enjoy with the family in their foyer/dining area. They offer banff transit passes which was very convenient since the hotel is about 15-20 minutes walking distance from the main shops. Would definitely recommend and be back."
"This is my second time visiting Banff, and compared to the last hotel I stayed at (for the same price per night), Tunnel Mountain Resort was a completely different experience.
I love how the suite is designed, with a separate kitchen, bedroom, and patio, which made my stay feel so much more like home.
The staff were amazing and incredibly helpful. I truly appreciated having my room cleaned every day.
If I had to list all my favorite things about Tunnel Mountain Resort, I’d be here all day! I highly recommend choosing this place for your stay in Banff."
"From the check in which was very smooth, my family had a lot of bags the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and stylish, rooms were comfortable, sleek and clean. Loved the patio! and the restaurant had great food. Would definitely come back!"
"The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Anthony, who made the experience much better. Unfortunately, our check-in was delayed by about 55 minutes, which was disappointing considering we were only staying for one night.
The room itself was also noticeably dusty, including the patio area, which made it feel less clean than expected for the price point. We also had ongoing issues with the key cards working on and off throughout the stay.
That said, the mountain views were absolutely beautiful, and the hot springs area was gorgeous, relaxing, and not overly busy during our visit. The hotel is also about a 25-minute walk from the main Banff town area and shops, which may or may not be ideal depending on what you’re looking for.
Overall, while there were some positives, the experience did not match the price we paid, and unfortunately we would not choose to stay here again."
