"Had a wonderful night staying at the Douglas Fir. Rooms were big and clean and the hotel was quiet. Only wish is that the pool was open in the morning so we could have gone for a swim before leaving! But the kids play one made up for the pool not being open! "

"Stuffs are very friendly. They do not have front desk, which worried me when I booked the room. However, when we arrived, we texted as what they mentioned in the instructions, they replied immediately. And when had trouble to use the door( which is my mistake), their manager come to my door in few minutes from nowhere and taught us how to use it and explained all the passwords etc. they also prepared almost everything you need for cooking from knives, plates to sponge and detergent. "The king sized bed (which was SUPER comfy to sleep on) was worth losing extra space over. It had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Coffee maker, kettle, microwave, bowls, plates and cutlery made quick breakfasts feasible in the room. TV hooked up to our laptop for some down time. Small table with 2 chairs tucked in the corner was sufficient. Only suggestion is to get a couple of hooks for wet towels on the bathroom door back in there! "
