good place

the ivory is a simple, but very well managed hotel. staff is very friendly and helpful, wifi is very good, close to the airport. close by in a walking distance is the paseo mall with lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and starting late afternoon a typical thai night market with lots of vendors and food stalls. in short: a perfect accommodation for a night or two before you fly out of bangkok.

4年ぶりにタイにゴルフをしに行きました。ザアイボリーホテルの周りの変化に驚きました。商業施設が増え色んな意味で便利になりました。価格も割安で、スタッフも気さくで何でも相談に乗ってくれます。

The hotel is conveniently located beside Lat Krabang road and you'll have but a short walk to nearby malls and dining places. And it's just a short ride to the airport. Stays for one or two nights only Guests should mind that the place isn't really very soundproof. This especially applies to the bathrooms which have just a small window in the space to the adjacent one. You will hear your next door guests having showers or flush toilets. At first when I discovered this I thought someone was in "my" bathroom. There are also big ventilation windows in the bathrooms and if both guests open their bathroom windows they can see each other and possibly even sneak through the windows to each other. Else the staff was good and most things served well.

Perfect place to rest between flights, location 5*

The room was clean and 24 hour front desk with lovely staff. Shower worked well as did everything else, it was one of the only tvs that actually turned on and wasn’t fuzzy on our e tire month long trip. Comfortable bed big enough for my husband and I along with our toddler. My 6 year old slept on a trundle type of bed which was great for him. We paid 500baht to check out at 5pm instead of 12pm which was great for our 9 pm flight. The area is fabulous there is a bigger mall within close walking distance and a smaller small with lots of restaurants and a grocery store, there is a small street market close by at night. They were doing upgrades and warned us about the noise but we didn’t hear anything. The property is well mantained.

Only 10 minutes taxi ride from the airport, it is a nice little hotel along the main street. The room was big enough for two of us, quiet, nicely cleaned and there's a shopping mall in a walking distance. We stayed there for only half a day while we wait for our flight, but we would stay there for a longer period when we go back. The room rate was very reasonable, too!

BANGKOK i transit

Steinharde senger. Veldig bråkete med ingen skjerming fra utvendig støy fra trafikk, air condition og fly. Hyggelig betjening, fin transport til flyplass. Hotell kun for å hvile litt før flytur videre.

NOT A 3 STAR.... MAYBE A 2 STAR

I will never return. Much better places and about the same prices in the area. They will at least have MICROWAVES in the rooms. Very dated rooms, old out of date furnishings, hard uncomfortable bed, AC does not operate properly...either too cold or too warm. The remote settings do not seem to want to match, and poor flushing toilet. Not a 3 Star Hotel. Maybe a 2 Star. No Microwave in room or to be used. Shower is the worst I have ever had. Shower head/wond is in really bad shape. THEY DO NOT HAVE A RESTAURANT. They have breakfast service and area in the morning. Closes at 14:00 and breakfast service ends at 10:30. I have only seen a breakfast menu. Had cold cereal (cornflakes & Milo) for one of the choices.... But no milk. DO NOT try to order anything except for the one set you want. If, you want and are willing to pay more (150 baht each) to have more than one set for breakfast FORGET IT!!! The staff will not understand you. Floor are super slippery ... keep your shoes on or you will slip and fall. The location is the ONLY POSITIVE for this places. Honestly that is it. Cost extra for Airport shuttle. 200 baht one way and 500 baht for pick up from airport and return. Yes... I know.... That is what was explained to me when I asked. I have the emailed reply. I won't be back. You should search for a different place also.

A convenient Hotel for overnight stay near airport

It was an overnight stop-over prior transit to another country. Decided on Ivory Suvarnabhumi due to close proximity to airport. Overall experience is satisfactory since it offers the basics but hope management can improve the lightning of the rooms which is rather dimmed. Also, it should explicitly indicate charges for airport transfers within hotels.com We were only made aware it cost 200baht for one way transfer.
