Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Clean room with super convenient location! We had an issue with our visas and had to book something for a quick night stay. Staff was very kind and helpful.
+ good ac
+ room was clean
+ staff were polite
- no kettle
- soap/shampoo smelt stale (bought replacements)
- TV audio was broken (speaker blown)
- thin doors and other noisy guests all night
solid 3 stars
Greeting and check in excellent with a cool drink provided. Rooms are adequate, bathroom small. It was noisy with people arriving and departing in the night. Close to good food and market. Overall good value.
Good location for an early flight. Under 5 mins walk from ARL. If its raining though the road floods so be prepared! Room is nice but smaller than advertised. Its actually 16m². Some rooms facing wall of next building. Good tv channels, small fridge, good AC, rooftop pool, good eating and shopping nearby

There were a few positives and negatives about this hotel. On a positive note, it is conveniently close (a 5-minute walk) to the Phaya Thai Airport Rail Link and BTS stations, although it is along a rather unevenly paved alley. Another positive is the Top High Hotel Cafe, which has a good variety of food for breakfast (and other times) and very good coffee. My room, however, was a little unclean with some dirty marks on the walls and was, overall, a little 'tired'. The hot water in the shower was not hot enough - I like a quite hot shower so this was a little disappointing. The bedding, though, was spotless. Some reviewers have comments on the noise from the trains, which are certainly clearly heard, but I didn't find this annoying at all. There is a 7-11 just a minute's walk from the hotel, which is very convenient. Regarding value for money, I think this hotel is about what one would expect. I paid AUD 61 per night at a time that Bangkok is ramping up for its high season (Late November + early December). I would stay here again.
The hotel isn’t like the ones they post pictures of online it’s like photos of the building around it which is funny honestly. But ok so the breakfast is really good and staff are nice enough but the bed is super hard and not comfortable which In my opinion is the most important part of a room because that’s what you sleep on. Won’t be back. Good location though if you walk a few blocks away you’re in pratnum market.
Property is located in the shadow of Phaya Thai BTS/Airport Link station but one would have to drag luggage through uneven and poorly paved alleyway. Walking distance to Pratunum and Platinum if shopping is your thing. Reception area was chaotic around the 2pm check-in time, staff mostly glum and stone-faced, couple gentlemen in pink/blue shirts were very helpful though. There’s a room deposit of a grand (baht) in cash, refundable but inconvenient. Very limited good dining options but smaller food stalls nearby. Room was smallish, was on noisy floor, kids screaming at 11:30pm. Free tuk-tuk service to markets and BTS but only between 8a-5p. Strict checkout, keycard stops working at Noon, hour late checkout will invite steep fee. Overall, just OK experience, get the feeling they’d nickel and dime you.
The staff were really nice but for me breakfast included should be what it says !
To come to breakfast and be told i could only have a fried egg which was included otherwise their were options that needed to be paid for ((( the coffee was like tar and the tea looked the same , cheap white bread full of suger would of been ok 10 years ago but it is possible to get real bread now in Thailand, the jam could of been better sourced, there was only water melon and pineapple daily , with no changes or variation , the cereals were cheap with no taste, i find this extremely irritating as i would of then picked another hotel without breakfast for the same price , then in the room stickers everywhere all the things that were a NO, in the lifts by the pool not guest friendly at all in that way , lay and Watch a film with a 40 cm No SMOKING sign starting back, im harsh because i have worked in hospitality for over 30 years, there was no bar , no where really outside to sit so if a one night stay is all you need for the airport link then its good but not anymore than that, i could not get ice for my knee when i hurt it , my partner had to go and but it from 7-11, a big sign saying no food and drink from outside allowed but if you cant get what you need in the hotel which you are paying for then what are you then supposed to do, but again this should not go out over the staff but the management way to many things we could not do and not so much of what we could do.
It was an excellent hotel, excellent stay for an excellent price. I was annoyed that I needed to leave a 1000 baht deposit at my check in - I have stayed in 4 other hotels in Bangkok in the last month, and nowhere did they ask for a deposit. But that is a minor thing, and they did let you know ahead of time (it was mentioned on Expedia).
A lamp in my room did not work, so I went downstairs with it, and they replaced it with the one that worked, and said I should not have come downstairs, I should have called and they would have sent someone.
The tea kettle in the room is not meant to work, you are expected to go to the cooler in the corridor to get both cold and hot water. But even without me asking for it, they brought one into my room as they did the daily cleaning the day after I came. That was nice and thoughtful.
The staff was very helpful and polite. The room was very nice and clean, and it had everything I needed. I will definitely come back.
