"Hotel hits all the 5 star spots apart from 2 points. 1 - the rooms are not soundproof at all, and being able to hear the conversations in the room next door so clear that i could repeat what they were saying is not what i would expect. Second - the front desk staff are not as polished and committed to the level of service i would expect from a top end 5 star hotel. Doormen were top class. All in all it's a good hotel, but with so much choice in NY, i have stayed in better."

"Contrary to several previous experiences at very expensive NYC hotels that are disappointing in many ways, 33 Hotel was an absolute - and surprising - delight. Check-in was swift, the staff go out of their way to help with everything from luggage and loads of bags to helpful guidance about the best of the local restaurants. The room was unbelievably quiet and decently sized, the beds were perfectly comfortable, and the two-sinked well appointed bathroom was a bonus. We stayed 4 nights and...
