"Our stay at the Ringling House was most enjoyable and well worth the fee that we paid to stay at this Bed and Breakfast. Have stayed at a number of B & B's over the years and will say that this one ranks as one of our tops.
Great old-time structure that has been well preserved. Our hosts were very gracious in making sure we enjoyed our stay."

"I asked the front desk person if there was a microwave, and he told me no. Thought it was so odd that no microwave was available. Other than that, everything was great. "
"Room was clean, staff was not as friendly or attentive. The breakfast is terrible, that pancake machine is awful and not enough options. Last time I book a Hilton Tru "
"The staff was so kind and so friendly. I didn't appreciate the sales pitch upon check in. The housekeeping left a bit to be desired - we tried to be understanding with the blizzard that came in on Sunday but there were full garbage bins when we checked in on Saturday in the ice room and outside the entrance and they were still full (overflowing when we left Monday.) The pool towels never got replenished. The pool and hot tub were fine - again, not sure how clean they were and we were disappointed to find the sauna out of order and not told upon check in. The breakfast was good, hot and the time it was served was very good. The staff - again - not enough can be said for their kindness and professionalism. We were in a room right by a side entrance which I do not recommend. The door SLAMMED loud anyone someone used it. The room appeared clean & was spacious however the tub/shower combo was out of repair and the walls were PAPER THIN. The ice machine was right next door and you could hear it all night - it sounded like a washing machine. "
"We had a really great stay! The hotel is old and there aren't many amenities, but it's clean and the staff was great and friendly! We spent some time in the hot tub and thought it was great! Even the pool was heated! There is no coffee maker in the room, but they offer it by the front desk and it was surprisingly very good! We were impressed for a very plain looking hotel! And... location is perfect for close to things!!"
"What was supposed to be a weekend trip for my daughter’s 7th birthday left me with a horrible experience at this hotel. I had booked this trip a month in advance so of course I have no control of the weather. My kids and I took the train here and there ended up being a winter storm warning for Wisconsin so our train for the 15th ended up being cancelled. I ended up having to book a greyhound back die that same day but again it was cancelled due to the winter storm. Because of that then the greyhound only gave us an option of returning on the last bus on the 14th which I had to took because I couldn’t afford to be stock in the dells for an extra day 2 with all the other trains and buses being cancelled for the next 2 days. I tried to explain this to the hotel and asked if they could even give me some type of credit because he had to check out on the 14th instead of the 15th even though I paid for through the 15th. I would have loved to come back again once the weather was better so I was even willing to do some type of credit because I really wanted to bring my kids back. But they refused and I tried to go through Hotels.com and they agreed to refund for the extra day but said they needed the hotels approval and they tried to call several times and got to response. When I tried to talk to the manager he was very rude and talked to me so disrespectful in front on my 4 and 6 year old that they begged for us to just leave. $900 plus hundreds spent there down the drain "
"Very kid oriented. Children running the halls, dung dong ditching doors until well after midnight. Kids running and stomping at all hours of the night.
Pool was fine. Soooo chlorinated that it burns your eyes in the hot tub. Very loud. But I get it.
Rooms were fine. Clean. Beds sucked. Literally have a bruise on my hip from sleeping on my side. Between the kids running and stomping all night and the subpar beds..... Not a great night sleep. Rate was good. Breakfast was good considering. Lots of options. "
