"My stay at the Luxor started amazing. Met a hotel Manager who helped us check in since it was the busiest day this hotel has had all year. We were there for a volleyball tournament. 3300 rooms were being checked into on the Friday we arrived. The manager helped and I wish I would have gotten his name. From this gentleman on it kind of went downhill. I read the reviews about the Luxor and though I’ll get a suite because most hotels will always try and maintain their suites. Well our suite was in rough shape. Paint chips on the furniture, the rug looked run down. The room just felt old. We tried the pool and there was construction happening but that wasn’t the issue it just once again felt old. I remember staying at this hotel 20 years ago and though it was great but they’ve really slacked on maintenance. If you needed a place to stay there bare worse places but I would not recommend the Luxor if you wanted your vacation to be special. Sadly I really wanted to love my stay there."
