"The entire property is in worse condition than the pictures lead you to believe. It’s a motel not a hotel. The pool area had what looked like mold all around the steps area. Beds were in need of better mattresses. It was close to things which was nice but it is a very loud area and the walls/windows do not prevent the sirens and loud noises from disturbing you. Air conditioner rattled any time it was running."

"My biggest complaint is that our room wasn’t super clean when we arrived. There were a few empty cosmetic bottles on the floor but everything else was fine. I also found the bed to be too firm. Positively, the hotel is in a convenient location! Less than a 10 minute walk from Holy Donut and less than 20 from Tandem. They kept snacks stocked in the lobby and there was always an attendant in the lobby."

"What a quaint, historic and reasonably priced place to stay. Didn’t use the neighboring pool, but it was a nice option! Also breakfast was great! It was very nice to be walking distance to the pier and shops!"

"The property is lush and welcoming. Our king suite was very spacious and for the most part clean. I saw one cockroach in the bathroom in the middle of the night. The air conditioner was extremely loud. I had to wear earplugs to which barely touched the sound even after turning the fan down. I would get a different room next time. The staff was terrific and responded to a couple housecleaning details quickly. The owners were on property and were lovely to meet. We also enjoyed Mary the cat and...

"Delightful, modernized adobe compound with only 7-8 comfortable and inviting suites. Breakfast was served at a communal table with glass drinking glasses, ceramic plates and mugs, and metal cutlery. The rooms also had glasses and ceramic mugs. Comfortable chairs and beds. I would have liked better lighting, but still better than most hotels. Good restaurants and shopping within walking distance. There was a thunderstorm one afternoon and it was so nice to stay in our room, cozy and comfortable....
