"Fantastic location right in the centre of the Gothic quarter, which is very lively. More convenient that staying down in the beach area which is a bit of a hike. Rooms are nice and modern - although the Elegance rooms are just a bit too small for my liking. The next rooms up are perfect.
Street noise is a bit annoying, but that is partly due to the location and choosing to be so central (walking down to the port, up to Pl Catalunya etc), and also very close to the metro system.
Quite a bit of internal noise from floor above (all floors are wooden and not well soundproofed, and creaky old lifts).
Breakfast is exceptional. Very well considered, high quality, and in a beautiful room over looking the Cathedral."
