Great spot, resturant doesnt exist or is closed temporarily? The room was great, AC was controlled from the room contrary to another review. The bed was good, free orange juice, apples and pastry snacks. Perfect for visiting Monseratt.

Very nice

We really liked this place, clean, calm. Nice mountain village and friendly owners! The only drawback was that the restaurant that was a part of the hotel was closed, but there was a good restaurant at a walking distance.

Stayed here so we would be close to Montserrat. Easy to park and then drive to the top the next morning. Great accommodations with the “Hostel” feel but a private bathroom. Property owner reached out on WhatsApp to make sure our rooms would be ready and configured for our arrival. Would stay again for sure!

Very convenient for the Monastery funicular. Hosts were helpful and the room was comfortable and clean, although you could hear the neighbours. I was really grateful for the fridge for fruit and to store drinks.

The renovated room featured beautiful wood trim, great shower, and a spectacular view of the monastery atop the mountains. Parking was steps away from the front door and modern elevator. Wifi worked well. Complimentary juice, tea, coffee and muffins. Short walk to cafe. Very quiet and clean. A/C good. Highly recommended!

If you don't mind walking 15 min a bit uphill, not steep, from the train station (past a small market) this is a great option. Missed my train to Monserrat and stayed here. It was a gem really. Clean, coffee maker in room, excellent shower, comfortable bed. Another 12 min to rack railway. Arrived after 7pm, hotel restaurant was closed but owner had reached out on Whatsapp with code for entry (phone number on door). Thank you!!!! Great option for price. Would stay again.

Country Style Room with Wonderful Montserrat View

No reception desk. Accessing code was received thru text message. It was not pleasant lobby that was old and dark with stuffy muggy smell from the smoking residuals. However. It was better to enter the room entrance stairs and corridor that was remodelled with clean modern tiles. It was also nice to have an elevator. Every level has full basket of variety sweet pastries. Refrigerator was filled with apples and fruit juices. Decorated by county style room has a wonderful Montserrat view!

The accommodations were fine. It was good to walk around town, but unfortunately due to the time of the year we could only find 1 restaurant open for dinner. It was strange to have to communicate via WhatsApp with the hotel as that's an app that we normally don't use, and an "unofficial channel". We arrived earlier than what we intended to, and had to call via WhatsApp to get a code to the door. Finally the instructions to the room where quite confusing, we needed to go all the stair flights, and all we found were closed doors without signs; behind one of those closed doors there was a corridor full of rooms. The included breakfast wasn't good, we ended up picking up something on our way to the next destination.

Excellent location after visiting the monastery in the afternoon. Room clean, restaurants and supermarket nearby and very responsive host. Just make sure you don't take the gondola down because it's one station by train (L5) away!

We stayed here as the closest town to Montserrat. We wished we allocated two days instead of one. The hotel was in the perfect location. Loved the small town. Our host was very accommodating, lending us an adapter. We would return

The location was charming, but the room was very tiny. We never saw anyone. It was also hard to find at night, and hard to get in. Our host was very nice, through messaging. It was late when we arrived, yet he responded to my messages right away and we got in.

Was surprised that there wasn’t any restaurant. Expedia info shows a restaurant (looked permanently closed), outdoor patio (locked). Very bare bones. Still it met our needs.

No way to get inside to check in. Supposedly we were sent a code and room number to let ourselves in. We didn’t receive anything and then noticed a vague sign on the door directing us to download What’s App for this information. The whole check-in process was sketchy and very inconvenient.
