"Good location to get away from the city"

"We appreciated the welcoming staff - often similar sized hotels only have 1 person at check-in but Ayres had 2 and they were efficient. They offered cookies in the evening and a very nice breakfast in the morning. We also took advantage of the weight room and jacuzzi. Finally, despite being close to the freeway, it was very quiet."

"I like to cook & prepare breakfast of eggs. I bring my own 8" egg pan, good sharp knives for cutting or chopping. Everything else is provided. Stacked W/D each took about an hr no matter what setting you set. Staff is excellent & I love texting options with housekeeping. Everything you need within 10-15 min."

"Chose the Hampton Inn Poway as an extra night on my birthday trip knowing that this isn't a fancy resort by any means but Hampton Inn always comes with great stays and calm environments. The stay started out ok with the gentleman at the front being very helpful and even offering an "upgrade". We got to the room to notice a musty smell from the AC being off. We were given a room with one bed instead of two and a pull out couch (no problem). When turning on the AC, the AC the entire stay could not...

"It was very roomy. Need to fix elevator a little bit. Breakfast could have been better."

"Absolutely awful. We tried to check in and they claimed our booking was cancelled, even though expedia showed we still had it. They apparently we already full, so they did us a "favor" and showed us their disability accommodation room that they normally save for guests who need it. We walked in and it wreaked of cigarettes, the towels, sink, and tub were dirty, and there were stains on the bed. We walked out and found a new place. Don't waste your money here."

"The room was clean. We asked for cleaning service every other day. No one came. Had to ask for clean towels. The shower rod was loose so the curtain kept slipping causing water to get on the floor. The screws were coming up on the trim between the floor and the carpet so we had to put a towel to cover them so we didn't trip or stub a toe on them. The pool didn't look very clean. Wasn't filthy though. The room was small, but since we were using it just to sleep, it was okay."

"First the good: it is inexpensive, and the staff are extremely friendly. That's all. We had a reservation for 3 nights amd just left after the first one. The rooms are in terrible condition, and do not at all look like the pictures online. The sheets were covered in someone's hair. The furniture was all broken or missing parts. There's a new kitchenette with stove, but no pans. The shower head sprayed more water out the back than the actual spout so we couldn't bathe, which was the last...

"Comfortable beds!"

"Peaceful stay for 3 young girls but main door to our room had to be slammed in order for it to latch we came back to the room a couple times and seen we left it open. Spiders kept popping up throughout the stay in our bed, bathroom, and sink we finally looked up and cobwebs were pretty much everywhere on ceiling. Other than that would stay again due to great scenery and amenity’s provided just a heads up if those things bother you."

"The manager in the office , her name was stephanie, she lied and said that I damaged towel and that I stole towels, and I told her I gave it to the maintenance lady and she said she don't have proof when I told her to them. And she charged me $75 out of my $100 deposit and I don't find that right. Someone needs to get on"

"The room was clean and inviting. The we staff was helpful and accomodating with the rooms. Breeakfast was good with variius choices. The air conditioning was excellent!"
