Hotel murah di Barros de São João

"Love this place. Very convenient for the airport with a nice pool and sun loungers. Sadly the restaurant next door has closed since our last visit but Pingo Doce supermarket is only a short walk for a picnic or they have a cafe. Only improvement would be a kettle in the room!"

"Staff were mostly very helpful apart from one of the male reception managers who was rude and dismissive. Housekeeping was generally very good , didn't always replenish toiletries or wash crockery in the room pool area ok not attractive and overlooking the road. It isn’t really a 5 star hotel 4 star at best. Breakfast was good but in a room which was hot and stuffy next to the car park. No where outside to eat breakfast. Definitely upgrade to a sea view room otherwise you are looking at a block...

"Generally good value for money and good as stopover after arriving at nearby Faro airport but we were disappointed not to have any coffee or tea making facilities in the room."

"One lift was ok in evening but had failed in morning. No notice on upper floors so time wasted waiting for a lift that never came."

"Travelled with a 3 year old, would 100% return to this same location. The staff were amazing, kids were accepted everywhere (except the indoor heated pool sadly, although understandably cause it's a spa). The kids playground was wonderful with daily activities, engaged and kind care staff during the day. I didn't leave her with them unsupervised by a parent, but apparently you can. Loved the facility, our villa was perfect. Only thing that would make this better would be if the peacocks could...

"Friendly check in, room was clean and comfortable - you request whether or not you want the room serviced daily. Recycling bin in room. Kettle. Towels were large and fluffy. Shower hot. Just couldnt get air conditioning to work even with door to balcony closed. Bed was comfortable with spare pillows. Did not have breakfast as ate locally. Great location for shops and restaurants."

Sonia, the golf concierge, was superb; arranging golf booking but also answering all my questions about club hire etc… pre-arrival. She is an asset to the hotel.
