We take accusations of theft very seriously. Upon investigating, we found that the housekeeper who cleaned your room has been with us for 14 years without any previous issues. It is puzzling that you waited until check-out to raise this concern, as we consider such matters highly important and would have addressed them immediately while the housekeeper was still on duty. We would have also involved the local police to file a report. Accusing someone of theft is a serious matter, and the delay in reporting is unusual behavior. Additionally, for future reference, we are among the few hotels that provide daily housekeeping services. Each room is equipped with a Do Not Disturb sign hanging on the back of the door. If you do not require service, simply hang the sign on the front of the door before leaving for the day. This informs the housekeeper that you are declining service, and they will not enter the room.

It sounds like you had an absolutely fantastic time! What a perfect way to spend a weekend getaway, with dinner, relaxation by the pool and hot tub, and even some fun activities like the salsa social event. It's great to hear that the hotel was pet-friendly too, allowing your fur baby to join in on the fun. And making s'mores sounds like a wonderful way to cap off the evening, even if you were too tired this time.
