Very good sized room, very comfortable bed and large bathroom. Staff very friendly. Hotel a little dated and no mini fridge. Wifi connectivity intermittent also. Overall would recommend as a great choice for a hotel in Basel close to the train station. Would stay here again.

The staff was amazing. Our room was nice and clean. Great location - easy to take bus 50 from the airport; the train station and tram right outside our door. Easy to see all the sights of Basel. Highly recommend.

Hotel Metropol Basel
Hotel location is close to train station, which makes traveling easy. We got a Basel card, which offers free bus/tram rides upon check in. The room is a bit small, but clean.
