Hotel Märthof Basel
Great location. Lovely food. But very small rooms. Beds moved all the time and was quite noisy to sleep in. Limited amenities. Staff was exceptional and super helpful. They do try to downgrade us form what we paid for so make sure you check!

Hotel Metropol Basel
Hotel location is close to train station, which makes traveling easy. We got a Basel card, which offers free bus/tram rides upon check in. The room is a bit small, but clean.
