"I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It's in a great location, you are able to get to the city center of Basel in just ten minutes by bus 604 or tram 11 just from across the border. The room is a lovely size with everything you need. The bed was so comfortable and it is in a generally quiet area. I was able to pay for a later check out which was great, and was able to leave my suitcase with the staff until I was ready to head for the airport, which gives me a couple hours to explore before I have to leave, which I'm sad about. Without a doubt I will visit again very soon. Highly recommended for an amazing price. "

"The listing itself is problematic as it does not state that this is an apartment with no concierge. When I paid for the booking I received an automated confirmation stating that a registration email would be sent - despite repeated requests this never arrived. A week before I arrived I had to contact Hotels.com to receive any information about check in. Although clean, the apartment is bare and slightly shabby - the shower rail is held together with sellotape, the furniture is scuffed. The power socket for the kettle & microwave did not work. The other power sockets are not compatible with any non Swiss plug and it was impossible to find an adaptor in any local shops. As a business traveller this was disastrous. Small things like no washing up sponges or hand soap added to the disappointment. Could do better. "
