"Clean room but certainly a boutique hotel with limited amenities. Bathroom is beautiful but the room itself is very basic. Spacious compared to most European hotel rooms. Fair location, about 20 minute walk to main square/beach area."

"Maison Lamartine was an excellent stay in Nice. But a short walk to the beach, the property is immaculate. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. The only thing that we regret is we had to take breakfast in a hurry, as we had a train to catch. The breakfast was full of local and fresh pastries, jams, and cheeses. We wish we could have enjoyed a two hour breakfast. The place is top notch and will gladly return."

"This was our 6th time staying at this hotel: Did feel this time it wasn’t as good as previous stays. Breakfast was very good, however a limited menu in the evening we stayed 4nights and the menu didn’t change.The outdoor pool is open until 9 at night and is by the restaurant so can get noisy with children using it in the evening. Rooms are clean and service very good so is the location which is very close to shops etc."

"We had a great stay, the room was very comfortable and had good quality amenities and a very comfortable bed with quality bedlinen. Loved that we had a coffee machine and kettle to make tea. The bathroom finishes were high quality, a great shower and beautiful bathtub. The room had lots of light. It is located in a busy area with a bit of noise, but there is double glazing to tone the noise levels down a bit. Airconditioning worked well. Great location."

My room was spotless and well maintained throughout my stay. I was also lucky to have a beautiful view that made every morning and evening even more enjoyable. "The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel lobby is very nice and breakfast was perfect! The rug in the room was slightly stained but the room was very clean. We had some difficulty with the air conditioning but the staff was very responsive even on a Sunday . The room was never uncomfortable although could have been a little cooler and they gave us compensation at the end of the trip because of the issue. We definitely recommend this hotel!"

"Close to beach and main pedestrian street. Clean, safe, well-maintained, but rooms are very small. We don't spend a ton of time in pur hotel rooms so not an issue for us, but may be a problem for others. Staff was kind & helpful. Biggest bonus to this propert was the location."
