"Despite being a hotel that is quite old, we appreciate that the room was renovated to a modern look and we like the beddings and stuff. However the bathroom was a let down because sewage odour kept escaping through the floor traps. To cover the smell, the housekeeping use urinal mat, commonly used in public men's toilet urinals, as deodoriser, making not only the bathroom but the whole room (in fact the whole floor) to smell like public toilet."

"I am from Bali and was not expecting Batam have beautiful ocean until I come to this property. My room was facing the ocean. It was emerald blue water and can be seen clearly. I wish i stayed for longer as this has been a long trip before i went back from Batam."

"You get what you pay for. The bathroom in the room I got was literally unreal in the worst way. The sheets were dirty. The room was unkept. It literally felt like touching anything in the room would get me dirty. I slept on top of the sheets because that felt like the safer option. Literally the worse room I’ve ever stayed in in my life."

"The hotel is fine for staying in but it needs some love and attention. Some investment and a refurbishment would be welcome, the staff were all great, so no complaints there. Just needs a face lift."
