"The room and bathroom was very nice and clean, but I was disappointed by the breakfast service. First, breakfast wasn't necessarily covered by by room cost and this needed to be clear. When I checked in, staff should have told me the status of breakfast, that I had to pay and that my hotel fee didn't cover it. In the morning when I asked where breakfast was, that staff should have verified that it was at an additional cost. There was no one at the entry of the buffet, and there should have been. There was no signage saying the buffet was not part of your room fee. I should not have been able to just walk into the buffet without knowing clearly it was an extra cost. I would have never spent $33 on that buffet otherwise. Food was not well-stocked, the fruit quality was low, the handles of the lids to the warm items were caked in food, coffee carafe was empty and the new full one was not marked. There were not enough options if you don't eat gluten or dairy. The other coffee station counter at the entry was filthy, covered in milk, coffee and sugar. And 2 out of 3 of those carafes were empty. The floor in the dining room had trash on the ground. The bacon was either under or overcooked. Overall the staff in the buffet were kind and helpful, but what I'm most upset about is the quality of the buffet for the price and again, that I felt tricked into it."
