"It's a beautiful historic building on Lake Superior, but you wouldn't know the building is old by the updates in the room. Everything was clean, comfortable and in good condition. Baseboard heat eliminated the loud blowing noise from a wall-mount unit such as those in most hotels. Breakfast had great selection and overall quality, but should have been warmer."

"The room was spotless, decorated beautifully, quiet, had bathrobes to use in sauna, was prepped for our arrival both temperature and lit, had access to a coffee and beverage bar down the hall, and bottles of water in the room. Has elevator AND stairs to rooms on second floor. The Social Club downstairs was accessible inside the building, again decorated well, comfortable seating and inviting. The staff were excellent, sociable, informative about events in the area and helpful. Would love to...
