"Pros: The room was great for the price. We got a room with no window which kinda bothered me at first, but ended up liking because it was quiet. The bed and pillows were as comfortable as the ones at high end Disney resorts!! The room was very spacious, had a luggage rack, and plenty of storage. Having the sink outside the bathroom is nice for two people to get ready in the morning. It is located right in the middle of everything. It is across the street from Ceaser’s restaurant, Black Box Venue, and many good cafes. The employees were all friendly and helpful. Con’s: The room appeared to have been cleaned, but had quite a few hairs on the floor. The bathroom is in need of towel hooks and it’d be nice to be given two rolls of toilet paper instead of just one. I’d also be nice to be provided a bottle of water. The AC remote was not working perfectly, but I managed to get it to work. The door was tricky to shut when leaving the room, but figured it out as well. I typically stay in Zona Rio, but I recommend this hotel if you are going to a concert or event near Revolucion."

"Located in the northern zone of TJ, I liked being near touristy Revolucion, but in a real Mexican setting. It was a bargain for a five day stay, two star but very clean, well painted and maintained. I do speak Spanish, but a friendly staff would help you in English. Not as nice looking on the outside, as in the actual rooms and floors. Biggest problem...unfortunately...was they did not find my reservation which I made several weeks in advance, but did find me a room. Double bed was not what I wanted...looking for a Queen size, but I don't think it is common here. Room service was usually in the late afternoon around 4 to 5:30...which could be a problem when you just want to go to your room and rest after a day out, but it was quickly cleaned, friendly staff, and the Fabuloso smell dissipated within 10 minutes! Fan only, so warmer days might be a problem here. TV worked as did Internet access. Stairs only as far as I know, and there are three levels. Great deal was the independent restaurant under the hotel, which was open 24/7 with a good menu of typical Mexican foods. Especially liked the 95 pesos deal which included a drink, soup and a main course with rice and beans and tortillas...that's around 4.75 dollars. Middle aged moms were the cooks and it was all home cooking! I'd return and recommend it to the bargain hunting traveler. I enjoy searching for deals in different countries. This is a keeper on my list."

"The bed had a few stains but we were only staying to rest a few hours before our flight. Just beware of the tv channels if you have young children. We got the family room but my sister got the single but I didn’t risk changing the channel after we checked her room lol. Oh and stepping into the room there is a large step. Be careful walking in. The property is cute and decorated. The breakfast we didn’t have much time in the morning but they had coffee in the front which was appreciated. Parking seems a bit sketch but it’s gated and they have security checking cars in and out."
