Clean, comfortable, no-frills hotel in Holgate.

Convenient to the beach and ice cream. :-) A short car or bike ride into Beach Haven where all the action is.

Love this motel, family friendly, clean, comfortable, always feel safe. Stay is pleasant and always ready to help and answer any questions. Pool is lovely, all is kept up and just as lovely as any hotel on the strip.

So glad we found this place, it was our second year staying here. We love it! The staff is friendly, the heated pool is beautiful, and it’s a short walk to the beach. It’s at the end of the island, so it’s nice and quiet but still close to shopping and food places. Very affordable too, highly recommend!

Can’t go wrong

Some might call this a typical LBI no-frills hotel. On some levels, I would agree. However, the rooms are always very clean, always get a nice hot shower, the staff is tremendous, and they have a very nice pool! There’s also activities for the kids to play outside, a great bonus. Gas grills are available to use with plenty of picnic tables to hang out and cook poolside. Our air conditioner was a little wonky this time, but it was adequate. Labor Day weekend prices were a bit steep, but that’s hard to avoid on LBI. This is also a great location literally across the street from the beach. Can’t ask for too much more!

Second time I stayed here. Folks are nice and the rooms were clean. Very quiet in mid-September. Beach egress is right across the street and the pool looked nice although we didn't use it. Short drive to get to restaurants and shopping. Good value.

I just spent three days in Beach Haven, NJ for a 52 year reunion at a local theatre. The Sea Spray motel was the perfect spot for my stay. My room was spotlessly clean, the shower had plenty of hot water and the bed was “firm” but quite comfortable. There is a pool and it is an easy walk across the street to the beach. Nearby are a dub shop and frozen custard. There is a shuttle that drives up and down the island and stops right out front. This is not a fancy resort—it is a family friendly classic “motel.” Very happy I chose this spot for my stay!

The woman that checked me in, went out of her way to accommodate my request to be on the second floor. The grounds and the rooms are clean,however my feet were black from walking on the floors in the room. Might need to wash the floors. I would bring my slippers next time. It was nice and quiet,though we did stay at a quieter time of year. Shops and restaurants are a short drive away,and easy access to the beach and the beautiful beach at the nature preserve a short drive away. Easy check out. Also a nice pool on the grounds.

The property still has analog TV. It is small and can't watch it if you are more than 2 feet away. One person from the staff was outstanding repairing the heater and putting the caption on the old TV.
