" Faded Victorian excellence trying to satisfy today's tourists and not quite managing it (building is over 190 years old). Our double room was more like a single room. Buffet breakfasts Ok, dinners no more than average. Car parking difficult!"

"Uitstekend ontbijt met lekker en vers fruit! De kamers hebben alle voorzieningen, zijn wel aan de kleine kant want je kan je valies er niet in kwijt. Het bed is ook aan de kleine kant als je zelf thuis een groot bed hebt. Het matras in onze kamer is aan vervanging toe, het midden was een kuipje, slechte nacht dus."

"A lovely place to stay. They have everything you need in the room for example a smart TV and the shower is really decent, very clean and modern overall 10/10 staff friendly and helpful too I highly recommend."

"Lovely room and the beds were so comfortable! We followed advance about the parking in a very close car park so cheap and easy. We had an issue with towels which was sorted out immediately and communication has been great. The only thing we’d have liked is the ability to make a cup of tea, only a coffee machine was in the room, and they don’t get hot enough for tea. Small thing and wouldn’t stop us from coming back! Fab place. "

"A place with so much potential but a bizarre experience. Everything in the room - curtains, cushions, carpet - seemed new and very promising but the attention and service that should have accompanied that good start was non-existent. At no point during our stay did we meet our hosts or any staff apart from bar staff who, although very pleasant, showed no sign of knowing that we were guests staying in the 'ghostly' property where, once the bar was shut, we felt like we were the only, and not very...

"Room adequate however curtains falling off, door didn't shut unless you locked it, bath seal not on bath so floor very wet after shower, extractor needs attention it made hell of a noise, sink usable but cracked. Room half painted. Stairs to the basement dangerous as a boxing in comes over to far on the bend so you can only use the thinner part of the steps."

"Room (junior double) was ok if a bit rough around the edges, and could do with a refresh though we had a lovely sea view. Good job we are on the smaller side as the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze. Didn't use any facilities of the hotel apart from the breakfast room, and have to say what a good breakfast it was - we didn't need to eat again until the evening! Hotel is well placed for Llandudno Town, pier and the Great Orme. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and we would consider staying here...

"Only stayed for one night and we were a bit dubious when we first arrived as the was scaffolding al around the hotel which we did not know about. But walk through the door and it was lovely. Nice area to sit by reception, we stayed in room 11. Lovely room, clean, tidy and very comfortable. Had everything we needed for our night stay. Would definately stay again"
