"Friendly staff, comfortable bed, nothing special but a reasonable place to stay for a reasonable price. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re a light sleeper or a princess but we enjoyed our stay. "

"Fantastic staff, restaurant and surrounding area. Had an issue 1st night with A/C in our room and was relocated the very next day to a new room. Front desk staff very polite and really try to make your stay memorable. Restaurant staff very good and prompt. Food was awesome and the Lounge staff were an 11 out of 10. Probably the best stay you can have in B.C and super affordable.can’t sayenough"

"The tv kept going off. We had to change rooms. Missed last 2 minutes of Habs game and he knew the tv didn’t work. We were put in a smaller room."

"New and very clean in downtown Nanaimo. The beds are extremely comfortable. The rooms are impeccable. Centrally located as well. Parking for hotel guests is just across the way, and is very reasonably priced. This will be my new go-to stay for Nanaimo."

"Room and the view"

"Property is located right off the highway so it is a busy spot. Close the stores and groceries. Beds weren't the most comfortable but slept on worse. The man who checked me in was kind enough to move me to a room that would be quiet as I was going to be up very early for the ferry."

"The place was clean! A bright, simple room, one queen bed, a window to the street, bathrooms close by across the hall. There's a roomy kitchen-living-relaxing space, fridges, free tea and coffee (the manager, John, makes a pot in the morning.) The location was excellent--right on the corner of Bastion and Commercial street, giving you walkable access to all the main attractions of Nanaimo. "Booked because of 2 bedrooms (mom + 60 yr old son). Back bedroom with 2 queens (bed very comfy) but lamp on a table at end of beds with sharp corners & turned off by switch (so no light in the night! & unable to read in bed); as very tight space expect usually used by children. What was o.k. but could be better: at least coffee for 5 beds (not 2), drapes in front above heater shorter so as to feel that it was working (safety pins saved the night!). Too bad garbage is picked up at 7 a.m.; would...

"The fan in the washroom was noisy and the main road in front of motel is busy day and night but the room was renovated and clean. Good place for the money."
