"We wanted to love this. We stayed in the bunkhouse- that was what was available. It was NOISY. Think nyc apartment. The bathroom would use some TLC. Checking in was not friendly or seamless. Seemed like there was not a clear place to go and that we were in the way. "

"Unique little place. Wasn’t sure where to stay last minute and this place had pretty good reviews compared to local hotels in Maggie Valley. I gave it a try and was actually impressed. The property manager greeted us and showed us to a cabin asked if it was ok. He waited for an answer and then told us about the local area. "A quick one night stay for my husband & me with our two bassett hounds. Clean rooms. Updated bathroom. Large room with an entry space with open closet to hang clothes and a makeup vanity/coffee area w/chair. Next open room had king & queen beds; desk & chair; 2 upholstered chairs & 1 wooden rocker; tv/drawers/refrigerator area; and electric fireplace."

"Hotel has a huge lobby. We stayed 2 night. We borrowed a deck of cards from the front desk to play. Front desk staff was friendly and personable. Fire pit was broken so that was a bummer."

"I good place to lay your head. Not much impressive about the property except the view of the mountains and it was clean. Nothing special about the breakfast, but enough to have something to eat before heading out. For people traveling through, it’s quiet and clean and worth the stay. For those wanting something special for a couple days on vacation, I would look elsewhere."
