"This is a great hotel with good amenities including an indoor pool, a nice breakfast, and exercise room. Beds were extremely comfortable and everything was in tip top shape. A great place to eat nearby is Shellie's Diner."
"Room was absolutely disgusting! Blood stained pillows, stained bedspread, mattress gross! No way was I staying there. Staff wouldn’t offer refund. So, I “ate” my money and went elsewhere. Don’t make the same mistake as me. Don’t bother booking."
"Great location, very central with opportunity to walk and see Helena. This is a budgetary hotel (It's in the name, :)), that exceeds the expectations. Plenty of parking (mid-week), very clean rooms, decently quiet. Will stay there again. Thank you!"
"Filthy and disgusting. Lobby reeks, elevator vandalized. Room was falling apart, smelled like week old moldy pizza. Bathroom has not been cleaned in a long time as evidenced by male hairs and fecal material on/around toilet. Dried body fluids all over walls and ceiling of room. And the smell was wretched. Did not stay here, left immediately and booked a legitimate hotel."
"PROS: Convenient location (but noisy at times). Check-in was quick. Lighted parking lot.
CONS: There are many to list but the main thing is that I left an item in the room and I contacted the front office staff about it the day I checked out. The next morning someone called me and said they found it and would send it to me. However, what they sent me was NOT mine. I called back and the front desk woman in the mornings said the Manager was too busy, then in a meeting, then unavailable, then no time to talk with me, then cleaning rooms, etc. Never was ever contacted by the Manager. The front desk woman then said "we don't have your item, someone from the room that next night probably stole it." Then the woman told Wyndham Hotels Customer Care Department lies and kept changing her story.
BOTTOM LINE....I will NEVER stay here because I had property stolen, the Manager NEVER CONTACTED me about it and the desk clerk lied to me and Wyndham in the investigation. I would NEVER trust this place again.
Luckily, as customers we have a choice in where we spend our money....and I will seek out from now on in my travels hotels that are NOT a part of Wyndham due to this experience. An item that they could have offered to replace at a cost of $50.00 (which I provided to Wyndham Corporate the receipt showing the cost of the item when I purchased it) now will cost them thousands over my lifetime due to my NEVER staying with their hotel chains again."
"Definitely don't recommend. The first room we were assigned had been smoked in -- the front desk guy was super helpful and got us a second room. Great of him, but ick.
We were excited for the pool and hot tub -- but the hot tub was out of order, and the pool was fine but really small.
The rooms were pretty beat up, not super clean, the showers took a really long time to warm up. The breakfast was fine, but super limited.
Here's the kicker though -- our pups were with us, and due to the non-cleanliness of the hotel, one of them found and ate some pot from the hallway or lobby -- a gummy? a brownie? who knows? But we had to rush him to the emergency vet. So there's that.
Ain't coming back ever."
