![Beckhole station site/remains. View SW, to the end of the line, which had until 1865 been the upper end of a rope-worked incline section of the Grosmont - Pickering section of the 1836 Whitby & Pickering Railway - horse-worked. In 1865 the NER built a deviation from Grosmont to replace the incline, but the stub to Beckhole was retained, for goods working, also a passenger service in summer 1908-1914. Would have liked a newer room,this one was dated and need a new bath room suite.we had great views from our room,put draft from old wood frame windows.Food very good.

Five Star Stays
Exceptionally well decorated and beautiful home to explore the local area. Very welcoming on reception and everything you could need. Only minor gripe was the upstairs shower that was either boiling hot or freezing cold with no in between but sort that and this place is perfect.

Red Lea Apartments
We stayed in the ground floor apartment and it was very well equipped warm and clean considering it was a pet friendly apartment Good points hot tub and pool and cleanliness of apartment . Staff were friendly and polite on check in showing us to the apartment and info regarding parking. Bad points ...

The Helaina Luxury Apartments
Clean, well maintained, comfortable and quiet apartment. Great views of the sea. Only 10-15 mins walk to South Beach and main town. Couldn't ask for more!
