"We came to Europe during a massive heatwave, and left our previous hotel which had no AC (which was darling and right on the water) to come here so we could sleep!! This place was amazing!!"

"Absolutely beautiful unique hotel with funicular going right to the hotel. Beautiful views of the city. Very good restaurant but insanely expensive (not unlike the rest of Switzerland). Only complaint is the lack of AC. Not great to visit during a heat wave, we were unable to sleep well in our room. They provided a small fan but it wasn’t sufficient in 30+ heat. Otherwise very nice."

"Very clean, comfortable and well appointed room. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Our rooms had a lovely river view that made the terrace irresistible, especially at night. The location was great for sightseeing and enjoying restaurants. It was a great choice for us."
