"Stayed here several times over the years. Staff are lovely. Room clean and very very basic. The mattress was awful: obviously well past it's due date for a replacement (I barely slept) Breakfast is either toast/jam or cereal. OK for a one night stay, which I do when visiting friends."

"Lovely pub, lovely people, rooms were clean and comfy beds, but unfortunately the traffic is super loud, cars beeping on the round about under our window every 2 minutes in the morning, and for some reason the bathroom started really stinking of sewers through the night and was pretty unbearable in the morning! I didn’t mention it to any staff as I wasn’t feeling great in the morning so I hope they read this quickly so they can investigate the problem! Many thanks for your hospitality ☺️"

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Cherry Tree. The room and place were lovely and quite modern considering how old the building is. There was only one shower towel and half a toilet roll when we checked into our room, as well as 1 of each tea/coffee so it seemed our room was prepared for one, however the staff were very helpful to sort this for us straight away. "Lovely room, clean and a homey feel to it. The bed is a superking size and super comfy!! Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We only had a light breakfast, which included lots of choices (cereal, toast, yogurt, fruit etc). We would definitely recommend Orchard house!"
