An amazing experience, the staff was warm and welcoming and helped me navigate the (often-confusing for me) Beijing customs and apps. I couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Alice and Niki and all the staff at Le Zai were so wonderfully helpful and gracious. We will definitely stay here again. Our beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and the location is right in the center of some action, but just off the street enough to be secluded. We recommend!

Very unique place! Beautiful courtyards. Clean comfy beds. Well-located in Old Beijing. Staff unbelievably kind and helpful. Free laundry was amazing! We shared a 3 bed with loft. The one challenge was the bathroom- it was a part of the one bedroom and did not have a door -just a curtain. Difficult for 3 adults travelling together. Otherwise highly recommend!

We lived in Beijing many years ago, and we wanted to bring our four kids- ages 5 to 12 to see China. This hotel was perfect. Every kid had a bed, and the staff was very helpful. The subway is about a 10 minute walk away, and the location is close to some major attractions. If you aren’t familiar with Beijing, make sure you hit HouHai near by.

Beautiful place, beautiful location and excellent service. Very helpful staff and instant response. Assisted in calling a pick up car and send us to the pick up location despite the rain. There are three big beds ( two downstairs and one upstairs) with one toilet upstairs. No international plug available. Need to use converter. Location is very good. Just inside the walking street

The hotel is in a houtong neighbourhood with lots going on, and is a great base from which to visit the rest of Beijing with a subway less than 10mins away. The staff were incredibly welcoming, personable and friendly throughout the stay and always on hand if you need them. The room was spacious, comfortable, had a good shower and the ability to sit on your own terrace overlooking the quiet courtyard each morning was excellent. Breakfast was available each morning, with a broad selection for all tastes - the soups were delicious. The place was kept incredibly clean with daily housekeeping and the staff took real care to protect the historic building, I’d also highly recommend the airport transfer which was seamless for a first time Beijing visitor. I’d highly recommend this hotel for a more traditional Beijing accommodation with a lot of heart.

Book this hotel! One of the most wonderful hotel experiences we’ve ever had. It’s in a perfect location, right off one of the most popular streets in Beijing with lots of food and shops, yet still feels incredibly private and serene. The rooftop terrace was beautiful and so quiet. The staff were incredibly helpful- they helped us call taxis, make reservations, and even packed a to go breakfast for us when we left early for our Great Wall excursion. The rooms are big and beautiful. 10/10 stay!

Excellent experience for this stay. Warm welcome, excellent hospitality. Local tips: Staff share hidden spots and save us time.Easy bookings: They secure tables at busy restaurants and tickets for major sights.Stress-free transit: They help arrange safe taxis or private rides. Helps shipping my luggage to different hotel. Free great cooked food. Fresh made. The food tastes better than street food.
