One important point to mention, if you have a nut allergy make sure to say no peanut oil as they use it in most dishes but can replace with olive oil. Also check all dishes, as I found that even some not indicated with “N”, when asked do contain nuts.. even the spaghetti bolognese.

Amazing hotel with the best service. We stayed for 3 days and it was the best experience we ever had in a hotel. Everyone was very polite and helpful. Fantastic hotel

My second stay at this NUO Hotel. Fantastic. Clean spacious quiet room. Very comfortable bed. Nice tub and separated shower with good water pressure. Window curtains are electronically controlled.

Spacious rooms

Check in Experience was not great. Processed, no info about hotel etc given (we only found out later thst both bar and japanese restaurant were closed) and while suitcases were brought up for guests next to us this was not offered to us. Comfortable room. Food is ok. Nice pool facility. Inconsistent guest services. Deputy manager/ manger on duty James Wei turned the negative experiences into positives. His quick response and solution oriented attitude made us feel much better and we might come back again next time when we come to Beijing. Nevertheless without his help and support, we wouldn’t choose NUO anymore in the future. Downside of the stay: breakfast receptionist was quite rude to my husband that she didn’t allow him to come in and meet us in the breakfast spot because breakfast time is up even though he told her that he is not here for breakfast. There was a monk in the lobby asking for money as well which made us feel quite wired and upset.

Friendly Luxury Hotel in Clean Neighborhood

I used this hotel for our first time visit to Beijing recently. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were all friendly and ready to answer our requests. Hotel's main restaurant on the ground floor was a place where you can refresh yourself with good foods and relaxing environment whenever such rest is desirable during your trip. Hotel's neighborhood was a very clean, well-ordered area, with decent hotels and restaurants and places of refreshment all at walking distance. Hotel is located nearby 798 Art Zone. It is 1.5 km distance from hotel. You can walk to reach there, of course (and we did so), but I strongly recommend taking a taxi in summer. This hotel is particularly good for couple and family.

Best stay ever in Beijing!

Nuo Hotel Beijing was amazing! Upon arrival, they upgraded our room since it was our anniversary combined with a business trip. The housekeeping staff even brought a fruit platter and fresh cut roses to decorate the room! The room was well-appointed and beautiful and the lobby was stunning. Amazing pool and gym were added treat. What made our stay even more special was the hotel staff. Especially LuLu at the concierge was so amazing in every possible way. She really displayed Chinese hospitality with grace and professionalism. Just because of all the amazing and attentive service we receive from LuLu and other hotel staff, we would definitely stay at Nuo hotel every time we visit Beijing. Thank you so much for making our anniversary stay so memorable!

Highly recommend

Nice hotel in a location that is convenient for travelling to and from the airport. Beds were very comfortable to sleep in. Amenities were adequate. There was a mall right across from the hotel that featured many restaurants. We did not try those restaurants though. We ate exclusively in the hotel restaurants to avoid the scorching heat outside. We really liked the Chinese restaurant. Food tasted good, was nicely presented and reasonably priced, plus service was good. We paid extra for the breakfast buffet at the coffee shop. Food was nice. Salads, in particular, were fresh and there was a wide choice of fruits. Salami and Parma ham were of good quality (many other 5-star hotels in China that I had patronised did not offer the same high quality). The chef who made eggs was friendly and greeted us and the eggs were nicely cooked. Service at the coffee shop generally was kind of aloof and some serving staff did not seem to be interested in customers or were like AI when responding to customer requests. An exception was Mr. Evan Li, one of the waiters. We observed him working diligently clearing tables and responding to customer needs with courtesy. One thing that could be improved though was that there was cigarette smell on the bath towels. It was not too pleasant. Another thing is ( well, not sure if this is relevant at all): lighting in the lifts was a bit darker than I could handle comfortably. This is a nice hotel that is very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
