"What appears to be a sports bar is actually a load of video slot machines and what looked like a small stripper stage with thumping music that could be heard throughout the hotel. The door knob/lock was not correctly installed, there was no outlet for a CPAP machine without perhaps running an extension cord, cigarette burns in the blanket and the whole mattress itself needed replacing. Oh - and the hallway ceiling had been torn out for what looked like water damage."

"The hotel was being renovated, which was needed because it was run down. The renovations were very dirty. The pool and fitness centre was filthy and unusable with food garbage on tables, the floor and in the pool. The guests were smoking and drinking everywhere outside and there was food and garbage on the floor in the lobby. I was afraid to leave the room at night. Definitely not what I expected from a Hilton."

"Ups: Clean and spacious room. Amazing spot for families in terms of their rec space and restaurant. Downs: We had an odd noise complaint when we were just conversing and a few laughs. The next morning I could hear every single word the neighbours were saying and realized that there's floor gaps between both connecting doors resulting in next to no privacy. Yikes! Also eyes burned in the pool area from chlorine."

"Room was huge and exceptionally clean and comfortable. I’ve never been in a hotel room with so many surfaces to put things on. The closet space was also generous and well-organized. The two staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The only downside to the room is that one of the walls for the bathroom is glass. There are blinds that go down but they aren’t fully opaque. Kind of an odd aesthetic choice. There was no soundproofing of the bathroom either. It worked okay for us,...

"The rooms are extremely cold and the heat took forever to kick in and when it did it only warmed up a few degrees. The beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable. Walls are paper thin I could hear my neighbours phone conversation. I wasn’t impressed with the view of a wall and dog relief area but they were fully booked so couldn’t move me until my second night. The view in my second room was better but it was still so cold and the bathroom was dated. IMO it’s definitely not worth the price I...
