"Clean spacious room overlooking the main square was enchanting. Every staff member was welcoming and helpful answering our questions. "Part Deux at the InterContinental is a beautiful hotel set within a stunning historic building that has been very tastefully restored. Check-in was excellent and the rooms were lovely, making for a great first impression.
The main downside was the facilities, which felt limited for this level of hotel — a pool or jacuzzi would have made a big difference. The concierge could also have been a little more helpful and welcoming at times but instead seemed put out.

At first glance, the room looked as impressive as advertised. The bathroom is huge and beautifully designed, and the bed is a rare, super size one piece mattress for Europe. But once the initial excitement faded, the flaws became obvious.
