Quick over night trip for college move out and love this new option for a clean, comfortable room within 15 mins to PSU. Very modern approach (almost minimalist) but everything was nice and had good amenities.

It’s a new hotel. Love the decoration though the main shared areas. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast can be improved by including hot choices. Overall good experience for a weekend.

The staff/managers let people around 40-50 adults and teens to have alcohol and party in the lobby until after 2:00 AM on Friday night and I asked for a different room on another floor and they said no. On Saturday night it was a repeat of Friday night in which I got a video of the staff/managers allowing the partying and drinking again.. They also allowed drinking and underage partying in the parking lot with loud music until after midnight. The lobby was filled with about 60 people drinking, playing loud tv and open vodka bottles sitting on the table and adults and minors were running in and out of the hotel. The pool was supposed to close at 10 pm. They allowed unattended children and teens to stay in there until after 1 am. The staff refused to allow me to change rooms the first night and the second night made me wait until midnight before they gave me another room at the back of the hotel on the 4th floor where it wasn’t as loud. I had 2 rooms and requested a refund for only one of the rooms. My parent’s room was in the back of the hotel and they said it wasn’t as loud there. I was on the first floor and it was horrible. I was refused a refund even though I got no sleep. I asked to speak to the manager they said he wasn’t there. They gave me a card to email him and I received no response. I left my number and he was supposed to call me, he never did. I called back after I left to again try to talk to him but was never allowed to speak with him.

I was under the impression on Expedia that my check in was all taken care of when I arrived I was charged a fifty dollar fee and a hold on my credit card not fully explained by the desk clerk which had the personality of a snail ! The free breakfast sucked it was scrambled eggs (wet) dry hard potatoes and shredded bacon. The fruit was brown and the oatmeal was so thick I could have filled in potholes in the road with it. The television guide was unreadable because of static. I turned the heat on and it was still cold an hour later because the heating was shut off on the main unit ! No daily paper was seen I would have even purchased one if it were available! Other than that the hotel, the room and lobby were very clean along with the outside of the hotel

Room was clean, but over a three night stay there was no room service. Towels had to be requested each day. Breakfast was poor for persons wanting to eat healthy. No real oatmeal, only prepackaged quick oats with additives, and no fruit.
