"We rented 2 rooms. They only had one room for my wife. And I and not for my son. And then when we had to take my son twenty minutes away, one way they charged us full price and said it was our fault.Because we were a walking at the pear tree.By the airport, the company was disgusting. Not the people"
"I was quite disappointed. I arrived in St. Louis on May 30. When I landed at the airport, I checked my email to see that there was a message from Expedia indicating that the Casino Queen Hotel was unable to accommodate my stay due to renovations, thereby forcing me to find a last minute hotel for the next two nights! When I called the Casino Queen Hotel to ask them about this, they claimed I canceled the hotel reservation. I definitely did not. In fact, just days prior, I had received notification from the hotel that they were looking forward to seeing me.
When I called the hotel to question them on this, they were abrupt. Was not impressed. Would not recommend making a reservation there as they blamed me for a cancellation I did not make! I am quite lucky that another hotel had a room available."
"The greatest asset of this hotel is its proximity to the Arch, riverfront and Busch Stadium.
The room was clean and spacious. The 3 complimentary drinks per guest were good. The complimentary buffet dinner was awful. The complimentary breakfast was tolerable.
Parking is $30 per night extra. Use caution, spaces are tight and there is plenty of paint on the concrete pillars (just ask the staff)."
"So.....I booked this hotel because parking was included. When we arrived at about 4:30 (check in was 4:00) they told us it was mandatory valet parking and it was $50.00. We had no option. Upon checkout - we had to wait in line over 1/2 hour for our vehicle to be retrieved standing in a hot garage. I complained about the parking fee to Hotels.Com but have not heard back and this has not been resolved.
The room and bed were fine, however, the hotel was sold out and we were on the 12th floor. We could NOT get an elevator as everytime the door opened it was full to the brim. We ended up having to use the nasty stair wells."
"Great experience!!! Very family friendly! It was our families first little weekend vacation and the hotel was perfect for it! Great amenities for families!"
"Nice old school hotel. Great gym !!! Nice pool, not sure why they don’t have a jacuzzi . All in all very nice and old school and right next to the park."
