"I had a room on the 2nd floor and it was SO loud that I could barely sleep. Room was near an entrance to the hotel & next to the kitchen. I could even hear the bathroom above me. Pretty hotel, nice hotel staff, great location but I was there to sleep & couldn’t."

"We've been staying at Mansions on Fifth for several years now. We love the hotel and location. However, we were disappointed to learn this time that the absolutely wonderful breakfast that was offered earlier (for like $22) is not longer offered. Instead, for $15 you can get a pre-wrapped dried out croissant from some factory in Pittsburgh. Major disappointment. They have the facilities to offer breakfast, all they need to do is cook it."

"Stayed here for two different days on a there and back road trip to Chicago. Clean rooms. Nice room layout. "Award-winning breakfast" is a stretch. Don't get your hopes up. And, while it's not the hotel's fault, the surrounding roadways are a nightmare. There are some potholes that could destroy your car if you're not careful. Assume this is due to the dead/dying mall next door. Otherwise, there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area, just be careful driving."

"The staff were very helpful and kind. The bathroom was not clean upon our arrival with hair in the drain and random pills under the counters. The curtain in the bedroom was a half curtain and did not cover the entire window so the sun came straight into the room over the bed. The tv in the bedroom area also did not work.
