"Very close to train station but try and get a room not facing the train station due to noise. Wc was seprate to the shower which is a minor niggle. 15 mins walk to old port and lots of shops nearby. Lots of mainly Arab food places open late and very early and dead cheap on the door step. Feels relatively safe despite the riots dying down. Mareilles is not dangerous like the media states. Metro station faces the hotel. Pool use costs extra and I was not aware of this, need to pay 30 euro for a...

"The hotel is in a very convenient location if you are taking the train. The neighborhood is not the most pleasant, but it is convenient for train travel. The apartment is sparse, but has the basics of what you need. The bedroom is on the courtyard side, so it was very quiet at night. The gym is a tiny room with a few pieces of equipment. Overall, it was OK."

"The hotel is located in the middle of all things happening in the city, so it’s very convenient to explore the area from there and enjoy the bars and restaurants in the area. Although it doesn’t have on site parking there is a paid and secure underground parking nearby for 25-30 euros per day. It’s a very basic hotel without any special amenities, but it’s location is what you are paying for."

"When we arrived, the protest began which locked us down in the hotel for the night. Staff did an excellent job keeping us informed and safe. Building was surrounded by protesters, Gendarmie, and we stayed inside.
We were disappointed in the options for food and did not want vending for dinner. We had a frozen pizza at the bar that was average at best.
The room was very basic. The bathroom felt like a step above an airplane toilet with the plastic feel. There was a terrible smell in our...
