When I first arrived, I worried that it was in a bit of a sketchy area, but I never felt unsafe while staying at the Hostel. The manager and staff are exceptionally welcoming and kind. "My 10 year old grandson and I stayed in this hostel for two nights and while I had no idea what to expect, never having stayed in a hostel before, I was very happy with the hostel. Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room though a little musty when we first entered (we had the entire dorm having booked a "private room") with thick pillows! "First of all, the website lies. The free breakfast sucked, literally just stale toast. You don’t get the welcome package the website details. Or a towel at all. They also didn’t keep track of what room people were staying in so when my group got there they put us in one room, then came in 5 minutes later and told us we had to move. "The stay wasn't the best. The room wasn't ready for awhile, so they had me leave my suitcase in a room on the 2nd floor which was annoying taking it up there. When I came back around 3pm, the room was finally ready, but when I went up to the room the cleaning person was still working on it. It left me with a feeling that the room wasn't clean and I kept that in my head the entire time."

"All the staff were exceptional, friendly and offered advice, and useful information.Top tip - Pick up a map from the front desk. The location on the bay front was picturesque especially at night. Everything we needed was within walking distance and if we wanted to venture further a taxi rank was just around the corner. We enjoyed the Elements bar and a special mention to the two staff called Rita! Their cocktails were very popular with us .There was plenty of choice at breakfast and the best coffee. Whether you like pastries, cereals yoghurts or cooked food, it was available. The room had an ensuite with a good shower and was serviced every day. The towels were large bath towels, nice and soft. The hotel had lifts to every floor, and it was good that there was comfortable seating in both the reception area and the bar.Although evening meals were available in the hotel,we either walked across the bridge to the far end near all the boat moorings and found restaurant there or went slightly away from the harbour inland. There is also a Gelato shop just next to the hotel. We were slightly disappointed that the swimming pool on the top floor was not ready in mid may but I believe it opens in June. We will stay here again in the future if coming to Naples."

"This is an excellent hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed four nights and left the city for Sorrento. On the way back from Sorrento to Rome, we stopped at Naples for visiting Chapel of Sansevero. The hotel was very kind to offer us free luggage storage. We highly appreciate that. Also the breakfast was great."

"I enjoyed my stay here. Its location is excellent. Easy walk to everything you would want from restaurants to gelato to shopping to historic sites. The property is very old so there is not an elevator available. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs (I would guess around 40). I did not mind climbing the stairs except with my heavy luggage the day I arrived! If you like old historic buildings this is the place for you."

"The room was very nice and had a great view of the city. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and we were able to keep our bags at the front desk for a couple of hours past checkout to explore the city. We absolutely loved the breakfast and the restaurant’s roof top view, and would highly recommend adding it to your stay. The location of the hotel is very convenient to access the train station, but it can feel a bit unsafe to walk around at night as it’s a high traffic, urban area. However, this did not deter us from exploring during the day as there are some yummy bakeries and cafes in the area."
