"Beautiful property with excellent food and coffee. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooftop breakfast was a nice respite from the busy town. I felt very secure staying there with security on all night. They were helpful with recommendations for sightseeing and other restaurants. I was able to leave my bags locked up for a late checkout. Transfers to and from the airport were quick and seemless. Very nice place to start your stay on Zanzibar."

"The location is wonderful- among the labyrinth of Stone Town. The breakfast is an interesting spread of offerings and offerings of cooked foods. "The room was clean, and housekeeping came by every day to clean and replace the towels. For the first two mornings, there was no hot water early in the morning. After I reported it, they sent a housekeeping staff member to verify the issue before alerting maintenance. By the following morning, it had been fixed, and I finally got to enjoy a blissfully hot shower. "The room was clean and nice. Staff were helpful. Breakfast is small so not enough to leave you feeling full. Walking distance to different places to shop and eat. Private bathroom is the best option to get. No elevators, keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage or a lot of luggage. They only do checkin from 2pm to 6pm, so try to arrange a later checkin way in advance if you need to. I would stay here again. We had a nice stay."
