"Beautiful property and great location in Stone Town. The breakfast and kitchen staff were amazing and very welcoming. However, we booked the Presidential Suite but were not given that room and were instead moved between lower category rooms. The issue was not properly acknowledged, and staff insisted all rooms were the same and similarly priced, which did not reflect what was advertised on Expedia. Overall, the stay did not match the booking, so I’d recommend confirming room types in advance."

"This hotel is excellent. The staff (including the owner) is phenomenal. Everyone is so accommodating and welcoming. The staff speaks English and provides concierge service (directions, booking drivers/transportation and excursions). They were all concerned for my well-being and safety.
