"Steve is welcoming and runs a beautiful hotel. My room overlooked the sea,and was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely , fresh fruits, compôte , yoghurts, warm bread and croissants. Lovely coffee. All in all I would recommend Chapter 1 as a very civilised resting place. "

"First thing is this is an old building. This gives the impression of character and the Jubilee hotel had plenty. The staff were friendly and within a few minutes I was settled in my upgraded room with a sea view. The room was comfortable with the tea and coffee usual suspects and a very good shower. This hotel is very well situated being a five to ten minutes walk from the shops and one minute walk from the beach. I will definitely recommend for a short stay."

The day we were to arrive we got a message from the hotel to say that they were undergoing renovations and they would refund us for our breakfast charges and give us a free to-go breakfast one day. Annoying as we have a very picky eater and the buffet is a main reason we booked Premier Inn. Was ist passiert: Beim Einchecken war das Hotel leider nicht in der Lage zu verifizieren, dass wir über Expedia gebucht haben und Expedia dem Hotel das Geld (standardmäßig) über eine virtuelle Kreditkarte schon vor Wochen gutgeschrieben hatte.
