"I booked handicap first floor & it was great, however there was a constant alarm-like sound coming through the wall all night long (probably all day too). Mentioned it to frontdesk but never heard back about it...probably electric room next door. Breakfast was just OK with microwave frozen egg or egg sandwich, but good toaster for various bread, etc.,since they claim remodeling kitchen. Nice location for where I had to go. Will stay again if in the area "

"The hotel is under new management (since, maybe, yesterday, from the look of things) and undergoing massive, needed renovation. In fact, the whole neighborhood seems to be under construction. Frankly, I am amazed the hotel is open and functioning at all. But the staff (few and overworked) were fantastic and did everything they could to make it a comfortable stay."

"This had to be one of the cleanest hotels we’ve ever stayed in! And we really appreciated that. The breakfast was better than most-the scrambled eggs tasted freshly made. Next door is a Walmart which is convenient when traveling. Moundsville has interesting sites and West Virginia is a beautiful state!"

"Hard to find any fault with this hotel, especially at this price point. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was better than most in this class. It was clear the staff took pride in their property. Only thing I could note is the parking lot is small and if you're traveling with a trailer as I was, parking was a challenge. This will not effect most people. Would definitely stay there again."

"This is a fantastic place to stay. It is super clean, nicely decorated, with super comfortable beds, and great staff. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. My room was very quiet, although the hotel was completely booked a few nights. I was even near the elevator, but never heard it. The soundproofing must be very good. The hot breakfast is fantastic with many different options and different each day. I will definitely stay here again, next time I am in town!!! "
