"The hotel is in an excellent location in the heart of Bryggen. Rooms are clean and spacious although there is only a small wardrobe area and no drawers at all. Rooms are not serviced during your stay and towels changed on request. We were there for 4 nights and needed to dispose of our own rubbish. On the plus side the complimentary afternoon fika and evening meal is a very good bonus and compliments the excellent breakfast. Finally, the bar is not the best and not really what you would expect from a 4 star property. Staff service was mixed ranging from extremely friendly & helpful to bordering on rude."
