"A decent hotel in midtown / Times Square area. Lines for elevators were sometimes long. Lobby has some useful amenities. Rooms small but adequate. Overall, a good stay. Surprisingly quiet for the area, which I liked!"

"Trying to find water for our water bottles was a treat. Went to 4 floors, before landing back down on the 4th floor; the only floor with a working water filler with ice.
We had a premium room and we ‘re not sure what premium means to the Gallivant.
Punched hole in the bathroom door, filthy shades with black handprints, broken and worn furniture. The hotel has great bones, but it definitely needs a refresh. It did do the job for 1 night, but we will be staying elsewhere on our next NYC trip."

"It’s a fabulous hotel in Midtown Manhattan. It’s truly five star. The staff is fantastic. The restaurants are fantastic. The rooms couldn’t be nicer and more classy. I love this place. I’m frequent guest there every time I walk in. I feel like I’m at home when in New York, you must try this place out the only other place I recommend recommended the Regency."
