"The room was a little small but worked for us. We loved going to the beach and watching the sun set. They had a guest gathering at night with a campfire. We were tired and didn't attend but looked like fun."

"Enjoyed our early fall stay. We we finishing up a visit to the western UP, and was tired of the overpriced 1star hotels. I figured I could do any worse. I think we we were the only guest for a Thursday night, end of Sept. our room was clean a functional. Note the shower pressure could clean the side of a house lol. For breakfast since we were the only ones was made to order vs the cellophane wrapped muffins you get at an AmericInn. The Chef gave us the location of a nearby falls to visit. A nice end to our trip."

"Clean room, large room, toilet was finally the right hight for a taller person. Friendly staff, and it looks like they are doing upgrades to the rooms one at a time, the one I saw was looking really rustic with pine walls and log type bed."
